Graduates at Swiss Re

graduates@swissre is our international graduate programme that offers you special training in the career of your choice. The programme, which runs for 18 months, combines general business learning modules with those of a specific technical nature, which together provide you with a unique and well-rounded syllabus. The programme also hones the development of the analytical and communicative skills and leadership qualities that are closely associated with Swiss Re's guiding principles and corporate strategy. As a graduate, you have two ways of embarking on a career at Swiss Re.

If you have just earned your degree and have little or no work experience, you can be recruited to work in one of our core business functions.

Depending on the function you are assigned to and the area you are interested in, you will learn more about Property & Casualty, Life & Health or Financial Services.

During the course of 18 months, you will rotate among different business areas at your home base, where you will also receive further training to help you advance your career.

Interns at Swiss Re

Our international interns programme offering students internship positions in the following business functions: Client Markets, Products, Financial Services, Risk Management, Finance, Risk Controlling and other selected Operations units. During the programme you will be assigned to a line manager and his or her team, where you will take on tasks and work on projects straight away. You will have the opportunity to participate in activities that will also expose you to other business units and groups. The network events that are organized for our graduates@swissre will be open to you as well and you will get to experience Swiss Re’s culture while interacting with senior executives at other business and social events 

We are looking for students attending an institute of higher education and offer internship positions to students from all disciplines in their 3rd year (6th semester) and onwards.
